Registration begins this coming Sunday, September 5, at noon. You can walk into the door to the store and sign up, or you can call any of the following three phone numbers, also beginning at noon, until the store closes at 5 pm. We will continue open registration each day after that during store hours. Sorry, we are not accepting sign-ups through e mail—only in person, or by phone.

If you have a friend who cannot make it to the sign-up session, you may sign them up. You may sign up yourself and one other person. All registrations must be accompanied by full, non-refundable payment. Please bear with us as we do our best to cheerfully answer the phones, and please keep trying, we will get to you eventually. We are using an expanded class space next door to the store, and it will accommodate quite a few more students.
I want to remind everyone that these classes are NON-REFUNDABLE—it’s like a theater ticket…if you cannot make it for some reason, give your space to a very dear friend. Be sure to check your schedule carefully before registering, and then notify your family that you are NOT available on those dates! We will be offering lunch each day for $11.00. Please sign up when you register. You may also add this later if you choose to.
Here are the Classes. All the supplies for every class are included in the class fee.

Saturday, OCT 23
Class #1– 9 am-1, Creative Blocks, $85
Sometimes our creative journey can take us in a direction where we find ourselves at a crossroads - a creative block so to speak. Well this project just might jump start those artful ideas and unlock that inner artist just waiting to emerge. This multi-layered canvas project will showcase techniques using inks, paints, mediums, and beeswax. Explore a whole new way to work with ephemera and dimensional assemblage as we create this unique masterpiece. It’s time to prove to yourself that creative blocks are a thing of the past because the journey IS the destination…

Saturday OCT 23
Class #2 — 3 pm-7:30 pm,
Configuration of your Imagination-Halloween-Style, $105.
Please Note!!-The samples below are NOT the class samples..they are just photos of some of Tim’s artwork, to show you the type of project he will be doing. The elements in the artworks do not have any bearing on what will actually be in your kit. But I am pretty sure you will pleasantly delighted and amazed with the stuff Tim provides.

Imagine a place where your creative visions can be displayed for the world to
see…the new configurations are perfect! These dimensional and completely
customizable shadow boxes can be configured to share your creative thoughts and artful treasures just the way you want. Learn techniques on collaging,
layering, inks, paints, and more as you assemble this one of a kind creation.
You’ll be surrounded with ephemera, trinkets, and found objects to feed your
altered desires. The time has come to create the configuration of your imagination that’s as unique as you. We will be designing something especially for the Halloween Holiday, using the long rectangular box. All supplies are provided by Tim.

Sunday October 24,
Class #3 — 9 am-1:00pm, Ultimate Alterations, $85
Discover the versatility and eclectic designs of Tim Holtz Alterations line as
you create a journal made from Grungeboard. This isn’t your ordinary book class though as you design with a style that’s cutting edge…literally. Learn the
possibilities for using On the Edge dies, Texture Fades, and create a
dimensional cover for your book using the Bigz dies. Plus get hands-on
techniques working with Distress Inks, Paints, Stickles, and even more grunge as we add tags, assorted pages and pockets inside the book!
So if you are is in need of an ultimate alteration, you’ve found the right
workshop to do just that…

Sunday, OCT. 24
Class #4 — 3:00 pm-7:30pm,
Configurations of your Imagination-Christmas-Style, $105
(see the description above for the Sat. afternoon class. We are changing the style to create a Christmas masterpiece–a whole new look!–again, photo below is NOT the class sample)

We wanted to recognize the fact that not everyone celebrates Halloween, as not everyone celebrates Christmas. So, we are offering the “configurations” class under both themes, so that everyone will have a chance to learn this very cool process. Many of you will take them both, and that is something we just love about you guys!

The one question that we are asked all the time, about Tim’s classes, is “What do we need to bring?” There’s a short answer and a long answer. The short answer is–NOTHING.
The long answer is NOOOOOTTTHHHIIINNNNGG!!
How cool is that?!! In fact, we really need you to leave everything home, as there will be a lot of people in the classes. So, no rolling bags full of supplies, no baskets, no boxes…just yourself, and a camera.
We will have all of Tim’s new Ideology, Configurations, stamps, dies, tools, inks, Stickles, etc here for sale. It will truly be a fun weekend. It is one of our favorite times in the store. Please consider joining us for the weekend of your life!!
